Episode Summary & Review
Summary
Coruscant is attacked by Separatist forces. Mace Windu takes to the air while Yoda rides his Kybuck to defend the city. Meanwhile, Saesee Tinn leads his troops into battle just above the planet’s atmosphere. On Nelvaan, Obi-Wan volunteers Anakin to take the trial of fire.
Our Take
A pure action showcase with almost no dialogue, and it works because the animation sells every frame of it. Yoda charging through Coruscant on his Kybuck is a genuine thrill, and the space battle above the planet has real weight to it. The Nelvaan material slows things down a bit, but the visual storytelling more than carries the hour.
