A time traveler forces Janeway into a deadly faceoff with her nemesis, the Borg Queen; a romance ignites during Voyager’s peril.
Our Take
The first half of Voyager’s finale mostly works as a setup hour, leaning hard on the Borg and giving Kate Mulgrew’s older, angrier Janeway some great material opposite a cagey Queen. The future timeline framing pays off, though a few plot conveniences feel rushed. Worth your time, and it sets the table well for the sendoff.
