Summary
An identity stealing alien (or genome thief) switches physical forms with Tom Paris and then takes command of Voyager after assuming Janeway’s identity.
Our Take
A mid-tier Paris episode that works better than it should thanks to some fun body-swap shenanigans. Dan Butler clearly enjoys playing the villain, and the mystery of who’s who keeps things moving even when the science feels hand-wavy. It never quite earns its emotional beats with B’Elanna, but as a lightweight hour of alien-of-the-week mischief, it passes the time fine.
