Summary
When Ensign Kim falls for a attractive Holodeck character, he seeks help from Tuvok in learning how to suppress his emotions.
Our Take
A quiet, oddly moody hour that works better as a Tuvok episode than a Kim romance. The holodeck crush angle is thin and Harry comes off mostly pathetic, but Tim Russ gets good material once the story shifts into jealousy and suppressed feeling territory. The alien reveal is a little rushed, yet the ending lands with some melancholy. Solid middle-tier Voyager, worth a watch if you like the Vulcan.
