Episode Summary & Review
Summary
The crew discovers that a nebula is not what it seems, and Paris invites his fellow officers to share a little “R&R” in his holodeck program.
Our Take
A low-stakes hour that mostly works because of the character bits rather than the nebula plot, which is pretty thin once the mystery resolves. Janeway’s coffee obsession and the Chez Sandrine holodeck scenes give the crew some room to breathe, and that casual vibe suits Voyager at this stage. Worth watching for the character work, just don’t expect much tension.
