Summary
Stardate: 48784.2 The Vidiians capture Paris, Torres, and Durst while on an away mission. Then a bizarre Vidiian scientist divides the dual ethnic heritage of Torres into separate Human and Klingon bodies to test her Klingon DNA for resistance to the Phage disease destroying his people.
Our Take
A solid hour built around a genuinely creepy premise, and Roxann Dawson does great work playing two distinct versions of herself. The Vidiian scientist gives the episode its emotional weight, even if the Paris subplot mostly treads water. It drags a bit in the middle and the makeup for the split faces borders on silly, but the character stuff lands. Worth watching for Torres fans.
