Episode Summary & Review
Summary
Riker’s loyalties are tested when he is reunited with his former captain, Pressman, now Admiral, of the missing ship Pegasus.
Our Take
A solid political thriller disguised as Trek, with Riker stuck between two captains and clearly squirming the whole hour. Terry O’Quinn plays Pressman with just enough charm to make his agenda unsettling, and Frakes gets to do real conflicted-actor work for once. The Romulan standoff stuff is mostly padding, but the final reveal lands. Worth your time.
