Episode Summary & Review
Summary
Riker returns to the site of a 8-year old mission, to retrieve important research data and is unnerved to encounter his identical twin.
Our Take
A quiet character piece that actually commits to its weird premise instead of playing it for laughs. Frakes does solid work differentiating the two Rikers, and the Troi material lands better than expected. The pacing drags in the middle stretch, but the ending avoids the easy reset. Worth watching for the character stuff, even if the science is nonsense.
