Episode Summary & Review
Summary
When he loses the ability to walk after an accident in the Cargo bay, a traumatised Worf asks Riker to assist him in a Klingon suicide ritual.
Our Take
A heavy hour that takes Worf’s paralysis seriously, and mostly earns it. The suicide debate between Riker and Troi gives Frakes and Sirtis some real material to chew on, though the B-plot about risky spinal surgery feels like medical filler. The ending wraps up a bit too neatly for such a grim premise, but it’s a solid character piece. Worth watching for Klingon culture fans.
