Episode Summary & Review

Summary

Several crew members suffer violent hallucinations and comas as alien researchers visit the ship.

Our Take

This one wants to be a psychological thriller but ends up feeling murky and unpleasant more often than tense. The memory invasion premise is genuinely creepy, and a few of the hallucination scenes land hard, but the mystery resolves too easily and the villain is a blank. Troi gets decent material for once. Watchable, but it’s a middling hour you won’t think about afterward.
