Our Take
The cliffhanger to end all cliffhangers, and it earns every bit of its reputation. Riker finally gets command material to work with, Patrick Stewart is chilling even under all that Borg hardware, and the final shot still lands like a gut punch decades later. A rare episode where everything clicks: pacing, score, stakes. Worth your time, obviously.
