Summary
Counselor Deanna Troi announces she is pregnant; the crew sets out to bring a deadly plasma plague to a laboratory.
Our Take
A shaky way to kick off season two, with Troi’s mystery pregnancy getting resolved far too easily and the plague subplot feeling like filler from a lesser show. Marina Sirtis does decent work with the emotional beats, and there’s some charm in the crew’s reaction to the news. Watchable but thin, and the ending wraps things up without earning much. Fine for completists, skippable otherwise.
