Shore leave on a pleasure planet turns dangerous when the crew’s promised escape stops behaving like fun.
Our Take
Shore leave episodes live or die on charm, and this one only half delivers. The first act has some fun with the crew cutting loose, but once the planet’s gimmick kicks in, the story settles into a slow, predictable groove that drains the energy out of it. Fine background viewing, just don’t expect much tension.
