Episode Summary & Review
Summary
Captain Freeman seeks the ultimate payback after Mariner blatantly disrespects her in front of the crew. A well meaning Tendi accidentally messes up a Lieutenant’s attempt at spiritual ascension and tries to make it right.
Our Take
Moist Vessel leans hard into the Mariner and Captain Freeman mother-daughter friction, and their bickering mostly lands even if it gets a bit shrill by the end. The B-plot with Tendi accidentally ruining O’Connor’s ascension is the funnier half, with a solid last-minute twist. A middling but enjoyable episode worth a watch.
