Summary

When Enterprise responds to a distress call from the Vulcan cruiser Seleya, stranded in the Delphic Expanse, Archer and his boarding team (T’Pol, Reed, and Hawkins) arrive on board to find its crew in a deranged, raging, zombie like state that quickly manifests in T’Pol as well.

Our Take

A fun genre switch for Enterprise, basically a zombie horror episode in space, and the creepy ship atmosphere mostly sells it. The quick-cut infected Vulcans are effectively unsettling, though the pacing sags once the running and screaming gets repetitive. Blalock does good work showing T’Pol’s early infection. Worth a watch for the change of tone, even if it’s not breaking new ground.
