Summary
Following a seemingly successful first contact mission, Archer and Trip are charged with smuggling and imprisoned aboard a penal vessel. When prisoners hijack the ship, Archer and Trip must pass as outlaws.
Our Take
A solid midseason bottle episode that leans on Bakula and Trinneer to carry the hour, and they mostly do. The prison ship setting feels appropriately grim and the tension holds up better than the generic alien cons around them. Nothing here changes anything, but it’s a decently fun ride while it lasts. Fine for a casual watch, just don’t expect it to stick with you.
