Summary
The sinister Suliban insist that Archer be turned over to them — and with Archer nowhere to be found aboard the ship. He’s stuck in the 31st century, in a decimated city with Daniels, whose intent is to save the future by protecting the past — and Archer.
Our Take
A solid season opener that mostly pays off the cliffhanger, with the future timeline stuff giving Archer and Daniels some genuinely eerie moments among the ruins. The Suliban standoff keeps the tension up even if the resolution feels a bit too tidy. Good effects work for the era and a strong Scott Bakula performance make this an easy hour to recommend.
