Our Take
A strong reset for the season that mostly works because it finally gives Burnham room to breathe on her own. The far-future galaxy feels genuinely alien instead of just repainted, and Sonequa Martin-Green carries the hour well, though the new adversary lands as more quirky than threatening. It’s a promising, occasionally clunky setup episode worth your time if you’ve stuck with the show this far.
