Summary
Burnham is stunned when she learns her ties to Section 31 run deeper than she ever fathomed. Armed with the identity of the Red Angel, the U.S.S. Discovery goes to work on its most critical mission to date.
Our Take
A solid mid-season pivot that finally pays off the Red Angel mystery with a reveal that feels earned rather than cheap. The Section 31 material gives Burnham some real emotional weight, though the time travel logic strains if you think about it for more than a minute. Pacing is tight, the stakes land, and it sets up the back half nicely. Worth your time.
