Episode Summary & Review
Summary
Burnham heads to the ISS Charon with a special “gift” for the Emperor. With the help of an unexpected source, Stamets gains clarity while trapped inside the mycelial network. Saru asks for L’Rell’s help.
Our Take
Half Mirror Universe heist, half mushroom-dream hallucination, and the pieces fit together better than usual. Michelle Yeoh clearly has a blast as the Emperor, and the Stamets sequences finally give the spore network some emotional weight instead of just technobabble. The pacing sags in the middle, but the closing reveal lands hard enough to make it worth your while.
