Episode Summary & Review
Summary
Alexander Rozhenko joins the crew of the Rotarran, much to the disappointment of Worf. On DS9, Tora Ziyal returns to the station where Gul Dukat intends to use her to get closer to Kira.
Our Take
A decent setup hour that splits its time between Worf’s awkward reunion with Alexander and the messier politics back on the station. The Klingon material is stiff and the father-son friction feels borrowed from earlier Trek, but the Kira, Ziyal and Dukat scenes have real tension underneath. Not essential viewing, though it plants seeds worth following.
