Episode Summary & Review
Summary
Believing that the recent Cardasssian coup was orchestrated by the Dominion, the Klingon decision to attack Cardassia puts the Federation-Klingon alliance in jeopardy, and forces Worf to choose between his people and his oath to the Federation.
Our Take
The conclusion sticks the landing with some of the best space battle staging the series ever managed, and the Worf material lands emotionally without getting preachy. The station’s new militarized feel gives everything real weight. It’s a busy hour and a couple of subplots get shortchanged, but the payoff with Gowron and the alliance collapse feels earned. Worth your time, easily.
