Episode Summary & Review
Summary
Ensign Melora Pazlar, a new arrival on DS9 with a special gravity based disability, finds an admirer in Bashir. Meanwhile, Quark receives a death threat from one of his former associates.
Our Take
This one’s a mixed bag. The premise of an officer from a low-gravity world adapting to the station has real promise, but it settles into a fairly predictable Bashir romance with a treatment dilemma that resolves too easily. The Quark subplot is slight but gives Armin Shimerman some fun material. Watchable, just don’t expect it to stick with you.
