Summary
A group of refugees from the Gamma Quadrant travel through the wormhole in search of their fabled homeland, Kentanna.
Our Take
Sanctuary is a decent mid-season episode that tries to say something about refugees and bureaucracy, and mostly gets by on Kira’s frustration with the whole situation. The Skrreeans aren’t the most compelling aliens the show has given us, and the pacing sags in the middle. Still, the ending lands with a quiet, bittersweet note that earns its 44 minutes.
