Summary
After being swindled by Quark, the Wadi, a visiting delegation from the Gamma Quadrant turns four crew members into ‘pieces’ for a bizarre game.
Our Take
A weird Trek curiosity that never quite commits to being either comedy or nightmare. The game itself is too vague to generate real tension, though watching Quark sweat over his pieces’ fates has its moments. Colm Meaney sells his scenes hard, but the shrugging ending undoes whatever stakes were there. Harmless, but skip it if you’re in a hurry.
