Episode Summary & Review
Summary
The final round presents another cruel test, but this time, how it ends depends on just one player. The game’s creator steps out of the shadows.
Our Take
The finale sticks the landing about as well as it can after eight episodes of escalating dread. The final game is suitably grim, and the reveal with the old man pays off nicely, even if the last stretch in the real world drags and undercuts the momentum. Worth your time if you’ve come this far, though don’t expect a clean ending.
