Summary
In a frostbitten frontier world, a legendary mech pilot learns his latest mission might hold the key to the demons that have haunted him for decades.
Our Take
This one looks gorgeous and the mech fights land hard, but the story around them is thin and the brooding protagonist’s trauma gets telegraphed more than explored. It’s a moody, atmospheric half hour that coasts on vibes and heavy armor design. Worth a watch if you’re into Armored Core specifically, otherwise it’s a pretty but forgettable entry in an uneven season.
