Summary
After revolting against their corporate overlords, a group of mining robots is condemned to fight for survival in deadly arena combat.
Our Take
A bleak little war story with more on its mind than you’d expect from an arena shooter tie-in. The robot uprising angle gives it some actual weight, and the action hits hard, though the pacing sags in the middle when it lingers on its misery. Not the strongest entry of the season, but a solid hour if you like your sci-fi grim and loud.
