Summary
Samurai Jack is ambushed while he’s sleeping and taken to the Dome of Doom. There he is given the name ‘Two Sandles’ and has to fight to the death for the spectators amusement.
Our Take
Jack gets kidnapped into a gladiator arena and forced to fight for a bloodthirsty crowd, which sounds like a retread but mostly works thanks to some genuinely fun creature designs in the lineup of opponents. The fights are well choreographed and the pacing never sags. A solid middle-tier episode, nothing more.
