Jack is Naked

Episode Summary & Review

Summary

While bathing, Jack’s sword, shoes and clothing are stolen by what looks like a white rabbit. When Jack follows the culprit down a hole, he enters a strange underground realm like none he has ever seen.

Our Take

A near-silent slapstick experiment that mostly pulls it off, with Jack scrambling through a weird underground world in the buff and the animation doing all the heavy lifting. The rabbit-thief reveal is a great little payoff, and the pacing stays quick even when a couple of chases run long. It’s a goofy detour, but one of the season’s most inventive. Worth your time.
