Ricktional Mortpoon’s Rickmas Mortcation

Episode Summary & Review

Summary

What starts as a merry Christmas in the Smith household takes an ugly turn when Morty uncovers a betrayal thanks to a gift from a galaxy far, far away.

Our Take

A strong closer to a wobbly season, leaning hard into the Star Wars riff and mostly getting away with it. The action beats are genuinely fun and Rick’s slow unraveling lands better than expected, though the middle stretch of parody jokes runs out of steam. Worth your time, especially if the season’s been hit or miss for you.
