Episode Summary & Review
Summary
Mordecai and Rigby want to win a happy birthday song contest.
Our Take
A pretty slight one even by this show’s standards. The birthday song premise gives Mordecai and Rigby a clear goal to be lazy about, and there are a few decent gags along the way, but the escalation feels routine rather than inspired. Fine as background viewing, though longtime fans will likely forget it by the next episode.
