Our Take
Mordecai’s parents head out of town and he immediately reverts to teenage slob mode, which is exactly the kind of low-stakes premise this show does best. The gross-out gags pile up a bit much in the middle, but the pacing never stalls and the ending lands a solid laugh. A fun, easy start to the season that’s worth a casual watch.
