Summary
While the gang investigates a murder at the Dim Sum restaurant below Emerson’s office, a woman from Emerson’s past reenters his life. Meanwhile, Olive and Chuck discover that Ned has twin stepbrothers.
Our Take
A mostly serviceable hour that leans on Emerson’s backstory, and Chi McBride handles the heavier material better than you’d expect. The dim sum murder mystery is thin and the twin stepbrothers subplot feels like filler. Some good one-liners and the usual visual charm keep it watchable, but it’s one of the weaker entries this season. Fine if you’re already invested, skippable otherwise.
