Summary
Emerson, Ned and Chuck are on a case of stolen jewelry goods, and solving a murder/suicide case, as well as finding out about a missing prisoner.
Our Take
A middling entry that leans hard on the show’s whimsy without giving the mystery much room to breathe. The pigeon premise is cute for about ten minutes, then the case turns thin and repetitive. Kristin Chenoweth gets a few nice moments as Olive, which helps. Watchable, but this is the first episode where the style starts to feel like a formula.
