Episode Summary & Review
Summary
Leslie hosts a late night shift for a local telethon, and lands former Indiana Pacer Detlef Schrempf as a celebrity guest. Meanwhile, Mark has big plans for his relationship with Ann.
Our Take
A loose, late-night shaggy dog of an episode that coasts nicely on the cast’s improv energy. Detlef Schrempf turning out to be the world’s most agreeable cameo is a treat, and Leslie’s sleep-deprived unraveling gets funnier the longer it drags on. The Mark and Ann material is filler, but it’s easy to ignore.
