Summary
Caspian negotiates between uploaded intelligences and humans; SafeSurf turns against humans; Maddie gains some perspective on life.
Our Take
This one feels like a setup episode that keeps promising a payoff it never delivers. The negotiation scenes have some tension, and Maddie’s storyline finally gives her something worth watching, but SafeSurf’s turn plays out exactly as predictably as you’d fear. Fine if you’re invested in the season, just don’t expect anything to actually move.
