Summary

Our Take
Ruth’s grief-driven rage gives Julia Garner plenty to chew on, and the scramble to recover Darlene’s mess keeps things tense even if the plot mechanics feel familiar. The senator subplot is more intriguing than expected, though Charlotte’s college musings drag. A solid middle-of-the-season hour that sets up bigger trouble without delivering much payoff of its own.
