Our Take
Ruth’s power move finally feels earned after weeks of grief and grinding, and her scenes crackle in a way the Byrde material just doesn’t this hour. Wendy’s scheming with Camila is solid but familiar, and the Clare subplot drags a bit. Still, the momentum is real and the tension keeps ratcheting up. A strong penultimate episode that sets the table without stalling.
