Summary
Wendy does damage control when Wilkes’s pressure on Sen. Blake backfires. Rachel is sent on a mission. Ruth resists accepting her Langmore destiny.
Our Take
A slower hour that leans on character over plot, and it mostly works. Julia Garner continues to steal every scene she’s in, and Ruth’s push-pull with her family gives the episode its real weight. The Wendy political subplot drags a bit, but the closing minutes land hard enough to make it worth sticking around.
