Episode Summary & Review
Summary
Lois and Clark’s relationship is pushed to the breaking point when Superman is named Metropolis’ most eligible bachelor! Meanwhile, Jimmy gives a cute girl a tour of the city … a girl on a mission to find her long lost cousin.
Our Take
A surprisingly funny episode that keeps its heart intact. The bachelor storyline mines real comedy out of Clark’s public persona, while the quieter moments between him and Lois land the emotional weight without getting melodramatic. Jimmy’s subplot is lighter but has a fun payoff that sets up bigger things. Easily one of the season’s best, worth the twenty-odd minutes.
