Episode Summary & Review
Summary
John and Jane are taking a time out. Will they be able to say they’re sorry or will this be the end of their adventures? Grab some tissues John and Jane, it’s A BREAKUP. Only this time, it’s life and death. Don’t be so dramatic!
Our Take
A fittingly messy finale that trades spy games for a full-blown relationship fight, with bullets. Donald Glover and Maya Erskine are riveting even when they’re just hurting each other with words, and the escalating chaos keeps the tension high. The ambiguous ending will frustrate some, but it feels honest to the show’s whole premise. Worth the wait.
