Episode Summary & Review
Summary
Lee and Keiko investigate a secretive village with a cult devoted to a mysterious creature. Cate crosses paths with a deadly stowaway.
Our Take
The cult village material gives Lee and Keiko their best material yet, and the slow reveal of what the villagers are actually feeding is genuinely creepy. Cate’s stowaway subplot is tenser than expected, though the modern-day timeline still lags behind the 1950s stuff. A solid hour that leans on atmosphere over monster action, and it mostly pays off.
