Summary
While shopping in Manhattan for the wedding, Aaliyah and Cruz get closer. Kate returns home only to say goodbye to her mom once again. Joe guides Cruz through internal struggle and doubt in completing the mission.
Our Take
A slower, mostly quiet hour that leans on small moments instead of action, and it mostly earns them. Cruz and Aaliyah’s scenes have real warmth and tension underneath, which makes the mission feel heavier. Some of the Kate family material drags, but Zoe Saldana keeps Joe’s side compelling. Worth your time.
