Summary
Doctor Destiny takes telepathic control of most of the team in their sleep, leaving Batman and J’onn to save the others. As the League members become trapped in their dreams and unable to wake up, J’onn tries to force them awake, while Batman goes to confront Dr. Destiny.
Our Take
A tense, creepy conclusion that leans hard on atmosphere rather than action, and it mostly pays off. Batman running on no sleep while hunting Dr. Destiny gives the episode a worn-down, desperate feel that works, and the nightmare sequences still land as genuinely unsettling. It drags a bit when J’onn’s dream-walking gets repetitive, but the showdown is worth the wait.
