Summary
While the Justice League are quarreling about the value of mutual trust and teamwork, Grodd organizes a Secret Society composed of Parasite, Giganta, Sinestro, The Shade, Clayface, and Killer Frost. The Society captures most of the League, but J’onn frees the others and the Society is defeated in front of a crowded stadium.
Our Take
A solid setup hour that spends a little too long on the League bickering before the good stuff kicks in. Grodd’s villain lineup is fun to watch assemble, and the mind-control twist gives the team conflict an actual reason to exist. Worth your time, especially since it ends on a hook that makes the second part feel inevitable.
