Episode Summary & Review
Summary
Jason Blood and his alter ego Etrigan the Demon, seek the assistance of the Justice League in preventing the Philosopher’s stone from falling into the hands of his ancient enemy, the sorceress Morgaine Le Fey.
Our Take
A solid setup hour that leans on medieval magic and old grudges, and Jason Blood’s cursed history with Etrigan gives it more weight than the usual villain-of-the-week stuff. The pacing stumbles a bit in the middle when it’s mostly exposition and traveling, and Morgaine hasn’t sunk her claws in yet. Worth watching, if only to be ready for part two.
