Episode Summary & Review
Summary
Jack travels to Vienna to track down the source of his original intelligence on Sokol. Greer advises Alena on a key NATO deal. Petr Kovac, Alena’s father, hosts a hunt in the Czech woods.
Our Take
Vienna gives this episode its best stretch, with Jack working contacts and staying one step ahead of the people hunting him. The Kovac hunting party stuff is atmospheric and builds the season’s villain nicely, though Greer’s NATO subplot drags whenever it cuts away. A solid middle chapter that keeps momentum without much forward motion.
