Our Take
A bleak, mean-spirited opener that leans hard into Dee’s misery, and Kaitlin Olson sells the self-destruction well even when the joke starts wearing thin. The twist lands decently, though the middle stretch of heckling and humiliation feels like padding. Worth a watch for fans, but it’s more uncomfortable than funny for long stretches.
