The Gang Gets Whacked: Part 1
⚠ Spoiler alert This recap gives away what happens in this episode.
Episode Summary & Review
Summary
A misunderstanding with the mob over a set of speakers and a stash of cocaine prompts Dennis to hire himself out as a male escort. It’s that, or he and the rest of the gang will get whacked.
Our Take
Part one of two spends most of its runtime setting up the gang’s money problem, which means a lot of scrambling and not much payoff yet. Dennis’s escort arc gets the biggest laughs, and Sweet Dee’s attempts to flip the coke are solid. It’s decent setup, but you’ll want Part 2 queued up right after.
